Stu Allen - Best Of '89 Hip Hop Key 103 1989

Stu Allen's Bus' Diss rap show on key103 is legendery in the North West of England, playing the hottest and newest 12"s and album tracks around. I remember recording this show each week, and the house hour too. 1. Might sound like a silly question but is the same Stu Allen that also played at all the raves? I've got a shite load of old skool mixes from him.
Anyway you've got some gems up, some I have been looking ages for, like the Peter Parker joints, they are gold.

    Peace.

  2. Yeah man, its the same Stu Allen. He used to have a radio show on Key103 in Manchester and it was separated into 3 houtly segments. Bus Diss (hip hop), Soul Hour (cant remember its proper title) and the House Hour, which soon had a weekly mix of all the newest rave tunes out that week.

  3. Man... memories.
I have this on a cassette somewhere. I taped all the shows from c.late 1987 to 1991, but have had neither the time nor the cash to convert them to mp3. Awesome man. Thanks.
By the way, the soul hour was called 'Souled Out', and played some pretty good 'street soul' and swing.
    Cheers
